Our founder, Dr. Vince, is a leading figure in the field of Competition Law. He obtained a doctorate degree focusing on Competition Law and Policy in 2009 – prior to the passing of the Competition Act 2010. He was at one point in time the Antitrust Counsel of a national carrier, and was responsible for carrier’s Competition Law issues and compliance, including handling one collaboration arrangement among the country’s air carriers which ended up as the first reported decision by the MyCC. He was instrumental in designing, introducing and implementing a Competition Compliance Program. He has been invited to speak at numerous international forums, and is the first Malaysian author to have published a number of Competition Law articles in international law journals, including the European Journal of Law and Economics, and the Australian Competition & Consumer Law Journal. He has been appointed by the Concurrences as the country reporter. He was a key speaker at the launch of the ASEAN Handbook on Competition Policy & Law organized by the ASEAN Secretariat.
